Hey there rivjon1, thanks so much for reaching out, I appreciate that you miss me! No worries here, I don't mind you asking about me, I know I've been absent compared to how active I was before.
I haven't been creating any content lately because I'm spending more than I'm making on it, unfortunately. And so I took a second day job and it's an on call schedule that takes up more of my time. I also got really burnt out on trying to catch up with making sales and cranking out content to stay relevant and I just didn't like how it was changing my experience of getting messy. But I'm not leaving or going anywhere! I still plan on creating content. In fact I just met with another model on here yesterday and she and I are going to be filming together so I'm really excited to get some new vids going soon!
And also, I will always be here on UMD, even when I'm not creating content. I'm always on here replying to the forums and answering my DM's when I have the time. But I'll always stay a member and I'll still be here long after I retire, if I ever do

This is so true. Like some of us love this but wanna not feel like we are under the gun to be locked into a constant creative schedule because we have families, lives, and careers that hold a higher priority than just shelling out content. Things happen. Life events happen. Shoot at your own schedule and your schedule only. If that is a week, a month, a year from now, so be it. This circus isn't going anywhere

agreed with your comments Nostaligic! It seems that some people here don't understand that. i'm not a producer but in having conversations with others on here and i tell them i have to go they get really pissed off. I have things to do and life does happen and i cannot stay up here 24/7...sorry for getting off topic, but CreamMe is a mainstay here on UMD and I for one am glad she is!

Yeah, you sometimes have to step away to do you for a bit. Not everyone can always be here at all times. People have and SHOULD have lives outside this niche.
I mean, in the grand scheme of things, this lil corner of the world has been a guilty pleasure of mine for years, as I am sure it is the same for a swath of others on here. This isn't my life, though. It's a small part of it, true but it doesn't encompass it entirely. There is SO much more to me (or any creator, really) than this. This isn't casting shade at those who choose to do this full time but the fact is those producers are far and few between and typically, they are shooting way more than just WAM.
That being said, my advice to any producer (new or old) is shoot at their own pace. Avoid the "comparison trap". This includes stupid rating or "site rank" systems typical of most hosting platforms for content to pressure creators to feel the need to stay relevant by shooting constantly. If they can only shoot once a week, fine! If they can only shoot once a year, that is also fine. Everyone is different and has different obligations that will affect their attendance or shoot schedule.
The biggest thing is make sure it is still fun. I mean, if you are shooting so much that you start feeling the inspiration to shoot leave you? It's time to reevaluate and step away to recharge.
