I've been watching a lot of scenes where a couple of models will be quizzed or something to determine if they will be gunged. They start clean and pretty quickly their "luck" runs out and they get all messy. I like this format but it clearly is rigged so that everyone gets gunged 100% of the time. Call me crazy, but I like when there is some kind of motivator in the form of possibly staying clean. I feel like having that possibility makes the scene feel more real and if that means someone stays clean through an entire scene once in awhile then so be it. I might be alone here but I feel like a game with a predetermined outcome just isn't as exciting to me. Anyone else share this sentiment and if so, is this something that any producers have explored?
I think this is easier to achieve in a multiple model scene. Playing some game where the models have to swap places in the tank based on quiz answers, higher lower card flips and its not decided before hand who's getting the mess. Likely to lead to more natural reactions. The temptation is always to mess up the other model(s) regardless though.
Single model is a bit more difficult. If we mix up 40L+ of gunge and it doesn't get used, that's just a waste. Is that technically a WAM video too so could it even be uploaded?
We have got an idea in the pipeline (among many others) of getting my partner all dressed up in her best to go for a nice meal out, sitting her in the tank, then spinning the wheel, half chance of going out for a nice meal (on my card) and half chance of getting a gunging. We did think about rigging (film intro multiple times over until we get the result we want) but then I think we'll get better reactions if we play it with a straight bat. If the clean option came up, the gunge tank would probably be saved for a completely different scene the next day. A tank of cold gunge is harder to convince my partner to get under though.
